Physical Activity

Increasing your activity levels can have a positive impact on your health and wellbeing.

NHS Guidelines

NHS guidelines recommend that adults should do some type of physical activity every day. It's recommended you get at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity a week, or around 20 to 30 minutes a day.

Consider all types of activity. Increasing activity levels doesn’t need to mean joining a gym, there are hundreds of ways to be more active throughout your day. Work out what you enjoy and what can fit in with your current routine (or what needs to change). Routines are key to success. Work out how you could build exercise into your daily and weekly routine.
